Graci McGillicuddy is a co-founding member of The All-Star Children’s Foundation and serves as its chair.  She has been a committed child advocate since 1986 when she read an article about 20-month-old baby Shannon Nicole, who died after being brutally abused by her mother and stepfather.  Unable to fully comprehend how any child could be so mistreated ending child abuse became Graci’s life’s calling.

Since that time, Graci has worked tirelessly to prevent child abuse and provide treatment & care for these most vulnerable children.  In 1987, she joined the Board of Directors of the Child Protection Center whose mission is the prevention, intervention & treatment of child abuse and in 2009 she spearheaded their $6 million-dollar Capital Campaign to build a state of the art Child Advocacy Center.  Graci has worked with local, state & federal officials as a guiding force to prevent & treat child abuse.  She has been recognized as a philanthropic leader in her community  and for her efforts as a child advocate.  The Florida Senate recognized Graci’s tireless work on behalf of children with its “Spirit of Service” Award, the highest honor bestowed on civilians.
