All Star’s Volunteer Program provides essential support for many of the operations and programs across the All Star Children’s Campus. Our volunteers improve the experience of children and families who come to our campus, support foster parents in focusing on their fostering priorities, and help staff complete tasks and provide the best services possible. Volunteers help children and families on their path toward health and healing by providing them with positive, supportive interactions and relationships that help them to feel safe, capable, and valued.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- Office Work
- Special Events
- Childcare during Foster Parent Trainings
- Waiting Room Supervision
- Boutique Set-up
- Enrichment Program Facilitators (Art, Music, Drama, Yoga, etc.)
- Homework Help
- Foster Parent Support (errands, meal prep, laundry, childcare, etc.)
Those interested in becoming volunteers at ASCF are required to complete an application and onboarding training. Those working directly with children must additionally pass a Level 2 background check/screening and complete 6 hours of training in trauma-informed care.
