All Star Children’s Foundation is offering EMDR training scholarships to community mental health providers who serve Medicaid members or children and families involved in the child welfare system in Florida’s Suncoast region.

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people process traumatic experiences and reduce emotional distress.

Who can apply?

Community mental health providers in Pasco, Pinellas, DeSoto, Manatee, Sarasota, Hillsborough, Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee counties

Applicants must be able to complete the full five-month training and consultation program.

Requirements

• Complete an application and receive approval
• Attend all training dates
• Complete 10 hours of consultation
• Submit brief monthly EMDR activity reports
