Stephen Fancher

Stephen Fancher has been in Sarasota since 2012, relocating from the New York area where he was active as a musician and teacher. Stephen has a passion for working with kids, having been awarded Stamford Connecticut’s Teacher of the Year in 2012, he was the general music and chorus teacher at Julia A. Stark Elementary School for eight years. He decided to transfer his skill set as teacher to the field of finance working as a financial advisor with the Mariash-Lowther Group at Merrill Lynch from 2012-2016.

Stephen joined the world of not-for-profits in 2016 combining his skills in teaching, finance, and business development working at the Sarasota Opera as their Development Officer and JFCS as their Vice President of Development. His unique skill set developed from teaching, finance, music, and sales sets him apart as a fundraiser. Originally from central Connecticut, Stephen earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance, studying piano at the University of Connecticut, Trinity College of Music in London, England and at the conservatory at SUNY Purchase in New York. He has been very active in the Sarasota community sitting on the boards of the Artist Series Concerts and the Sarasota Music Conservatory, as well as performing the role of assistant conductor and accompanist for Key Chorale.

Stephen lives in Sarasota with his daughters Piper and Sofie. They enjoy the beaches, the arts, and spending time with family and friends.

Kristin Hoffman, Ph.D.

Kristin Hoffman, Ph.D., graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2010 with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship training in child psychology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles/USC School of Medicine and her postdoctoral training at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, TN. In 2012, Dr. Hoffman began her career as a Psychologist at the University of Tennessee Center of Excellence for Children in State Custody (UTHSC COE), where she provided assessment, consultation, and treatment to children and families with child welfare involvement and collaborated on statewide projects to disseminate evidence-based, trauma-focused interventions. A highlight of her early career at the UTHSC COE was her agency being awarded a National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative (NCTSI) – Category III Community Treatment and Service Centers grant, which made them a member of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN). Dr. Hoffman is certified as a Level II (statewide/regional) Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) trainer by PCIT, International.

In 2018, Dr. Hoffman joined the Psychology Department at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, FL as Director of Trauma Psychology. As part of this role, she collaborated with All Star Children’s Foundation on program innovation, evidence-based practice, and evaluation/research. Through this work, Dr. Hoffman has worked closely with All Star staff to identify, develop, and implement cutting-edge approaches to foster parent training and development, biological family engagement, clinical services, and trauma-informed care. Inspired and motivated by the mission and vision of All Star, Dr. Hoffman joined ASCF in 2020 as Chief of Programs, where she is responsible for program development and project oversight for All Star’s significant portfolio of innovative, trauma-informed programs.

Denise Marzullo, MBA, LMHC

Denise Marzullo, MBA, LMHC most recently served as the President and CEO of the Early Learning Coalition of Duval in Jacksonville before joining All Star as Chief Executive Officer.

Before her tenure at the Early Learning Coalition of Duval, Marzullo served as an adjunct psychology professor at Barry University in Jacksonville. She was also the President & CEO of Mental Health America of Northeast Florida (2010-2017). Her role at MHA included developing and maintaining sound financial practices for the organization, grant writing, fundraising, and establishing corporate partnerships. While at the organization, Marzullo led a statewide mental health advocacy initiative, working collaboratively with community leaders, consumers, families, mental health professionals and state senators and representatives. Earlier work experience includes serving as a children’s clinical director at Northwest Behavioral Health Services in Jacksonville; as the clinical supervisor/EAP coordinator for Family Foundations in Jacksonville; and as a child therapist and team leader for the Mental Health Resource Center in Jacksonville.

Marzullo recently served as the board chair for the Association of Early Learning Coalitions and was a board member and finance committee member for the Jacksonville System of Care Initiative. She received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Leo University (2009); a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (MACP) from the University of North Florida (1998); and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in sociology at Clemson University (1995).

Chelsea Hernandez, LCSW

Chelsea Hernandez, LCSW, is the Clinical Director at All Star Children’s Foundation, with over a decade of experience supporting children and families through trauma-informed, evidence-based care. She oversees clinical programs including therapy, trauma assessment, consultation, and training, and holds certifications in TF-CBT and Adoption Competency, as well as advanced training in EMDR and other evidence-based modalities. Chelsea is also a Qualified Clinical Supervisor and skilled facilitator of multiple trauma-informed parenting curriculums. Through her leadership and community training efforts, she is committed to promoting healing, resilience, and professional growth across systems of care.

Laura Roggenbaum

Dr. Laura Roggenbaum is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Director of Psychology Training at ASCF. She oversees the psychological assessment clinic, doctoral and postdoctoral psychology training programs, and several of ASCF’s specialized services. She completed her Doctoral Internship at the Centerstone Consortium in the Sexual Assault and Trauma Services department and went on to complete her Postdoctoral Fellowship at ASCF. Dr. Roggenbaum is a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Within-Agency Trainer Candidate for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and trained Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing clinician.

Diana Monzon, LCSW

Diana is a licensed clinical social worker and Clinical Supervisor at ASCF. Diana is a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing clinician, Adoptions Competent Therapist, and Qualified Clinical Supervisor for Registered Social Worker Interns. Diana oversees the day-to-day operations of the ASCF clinical program and provides direct clinical supervision to the ASCF mental health clinicians and psychology trainees. She is also a trained facilitator of Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement (C.A.R.E) and the Resource Parenting Curriculum (RPC). Diana has received additional training in Dr. Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and has provided community trainings surrounding trauma-informed and evidenced based practices for children experiencing trauma, crisis de-escalation, and self-care.
