The organization raised more than $600,000 to support its mission of transforming foster care both for children and the families that care for them.
Hope and generosity lit up the room at All Star Children’s Foundation’s Twinkle Ball, held on November 15 at Michael’s On East in Sarasota. A sold-out crowd of 320 guests gathered for an unforgettable evening celebrating transformation and resilience. The event raised more than $600,000 to support All Star’s mission of transforming foster care for children and the families who care for them.
The evening featured a heartfelt speech by Autumn McConnell, a foster and now adoptive parent, who shared how All Star’s resources could have profoundly impacted her fostering journey. Emceed by Michael Klauber, the second annual event included a lively auction, a moving paddle raise—enhanced by a surprise holiday gift match—and a vacation raffle. Proceeds from the event will fund trauma screenings, assessments, and mental health services for children living on All Star’s campus and outpatient clients, as well as community training programs for adults serving children in the child welfare system.
